About

Hannah Kemp developed an interest in design and architecture from a young age, but it was city planning that stole her heart and took her to the University of Virginia for a bachelors and masters degree in Urban and Environmental Planning. There she pursued opportunities to study sustainable cities abroad, and work as a research assistant, urban design teaching assistant, and workshop director for the Student Planning Association. She also had the opportunity to engage in community partnership projects relating to public art policy, green infrastructure, transportation planning, and community outreach.

Through these experiences she discovered a passion and place at the intersections of urban planning and design, data driven research, environmental sustainability and public health. She has since worked in freelance graphic design, and urban mobility intern at the World Resources Institute Ross Center for Sustainable Cities. She is currently looking for new career opportunities.
