Design Institute

The Summer Design Institute is a program developed by the University of Virginia School of Architecture focused on developing students’ knowledge of design methods, theories, technical skills, and techniques critical to design studio environments.

Summer Design Program

Lessons include design exercises and workshops as well as lectures, individual and collaborative projects, discussion and critique.

Through the program I gained experience and strengthened my proficiency in physical modeling, diagraming, architectural drawing, AutoCad drafting, Rhino 3D modeling, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
